Tasmanian Dairy Week winner

A Tasmanian cow took home the grand champion prize, but a cow from Leitchville was not far behind at Dairy Week.

Leitchville couple Steve and Deanne Hore took home the reserve champion Holstein sash from International Dairy Week.

The big program on the last day of Dairy Week ran late, with judging concluding at about 6.15pm.

A translator was required for the Argentinian judge.

The Hore’s winning cow, Elmar Goldwyn Jessica was also judged reserve champion in the senior cow division.

A Tasmanian Holstein cow, owned by the Bracknells was awarded interbreed Australian grand champion cow.

Kayla Bradley from Missymoo Holsteins at Lockington showed the reserve Intermediate Holstein cow.

Kialla’s Zanders family took home the premier breeder banner.
