Staff at Goulburn-Murray Water told 60 jobs could go

Up to 60 jobs to go at Goulburn-Murray Water's Tatura office as part of a major internal restructure.

November 15, 2012 10:05am

Goulburn-Murray Water staff were told this morning up to 60 jobs could be cut from the organisation, largely in middle management at the Tatura office.

The cuts come as the corporation adjusts to automation and reduced water deliveries.

Consultation with the staff will occur during the next three weeks, after which staff members will be identified.

Redundancies were foreshadowed earlier this year as part of a plan to reduce the size of the organisation.
