Rochester dairy farmer Greg Ault has joined the Murray Dairy board.
Mr Ault, 58, has been appointed chairman of the Industry Steering Group, taking over from Calivil farmer Craig Lister, which gives him a place on the board.
He has been a member of the steering group for about eight years.
‘‘I’ve always been interested in dairy research and development and Murray Dairy gives us the opportunity to have an input into how our Dairy Australia levies are spent,’’ Mr Ault said.
He has been actively involved in the UDV over the years and is a member of the Rochester VFF branch.
Murray Dairy was also advertising for two three-year positions on its board, starting in October.
Applications closed on June 16.
