Ute engulfed in flames in Cobram car park

Country Fire Authority units extinguished a blaze that broke out in the tray of a ute in a Cobram car park this morning.

Emergency services are at the scene of a car fire at a Cobram supermarket.

The utility is believed to have caught fire after a jerry can of fuel ignited in the vehicle’s tray about 10.15am.

The vehicle was parked near the rear of the Woolworths supermarket on Punt Rd.

Cobram police and Country Fire Authority crews attended the scene and extinguished the fire.
