Stand-off in Cobram overnight

A man was in a stand-off with police at a Cobram address for six hours last night.

Police negotiated with a man for six hours overnight after he barricaded himself in a Cobram house.

Police were called to an address shortly before 10pm and negotiated with the man until he was arrested at 3.30am.

The Critical Incident Response Team and a canine unit were called in to assist.

The man is now in custody.
