Cobram police are urging anyone with information to a car crash to come forward.

Police are seeking witnesses to a hit and run in Cobram last Monday.

Cobram police Senior Constable Mary-Jayne Kane said a grey four-wheel drive was angle parked on Punt Rd in front of the Cobram Barooga Visitor Information Centre, when a second vehicle parked next to it allegedly reversed into the rear left-hand panel.

Sen Const Kane said the second driver, of a white four-wheel drive utility, then headed east on Punt Rd about 11.05am.

She said the damages cost about $1100.

‘‘We’re hoping someone may have seen this person or anyone who may have seen the crash,’’ Sen Const Kane said.

Anyone with information to the incident should phone Cobram Police Station on 58711977.
