Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Cobram crash
BREAKING - The intersection of the Murray Valley Hwy and Punt Rd in Cobram is closed after a crash this afternoon.
By Jessica Grimble and Chloe WarburtonA 59-year-old motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the Murray Valley Hwy in Cobram this afternoon.
The intersection of the Murray Valley Hwy and Punt Rd has been closed by police and is expected to re-open in the next 20 minutes. Traffic is redirected around the scene.
The crash occured this afternoon between a ute and motorcycle and Cobram Highway Patrol Senior Constable Gavin Sproule said the male motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with major fractures to his lower left leg and possible abdominal injuries.
The driver of the ute was uninjuried.
