The 16-year-old arrived in mid-July and has been taking every chance she can to explore Victoria.

Alice’s English has improved dramatically since her arrival in Australia and she said she was enjoying the subject at school.
‘‘It’s amazing really.
‘‘I am much more confident having conversations in English and my comprehension and writing is a lot better now.’’
Her current host parents are Chris and Fiona King of Cobram.
They took her to Harrietville and to Melbourne to see King Kong during the school holidays and said she had been a pleasure to have stay with their family.
Alice is well-travelled and has visited England, France, Spain and Sweden.
