Cobram couple found guilty on drugs charges
Jail terms handed down at Cobram Magistrates Court
By Jess CraigTwo Cobram residents arrested on drug offences last year have pleaded guilty to their crimes.
Michael Lesley Hollands and Roslyn Joy Cashen were arrested at their Pine St home in September for drug offences.
The pair faced charges of trafficking, cultivation and dealing with proceeds of crime following the seizure of numerous cannabis plants, other drugs and criminal equipment.
Mr Hollands was additionally charged with assaulting police, attempting to escape custody and possession of hashish.
He received a six-month jail sentence, which was partially suspended.
Ms Cashen, who also faced charges of hindering police, received a three-month jail sentence which was wholly suspended.
