Benalla theatre group Let Us Entertain You Inc will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast by recreating it on stage.
It was 1938 when The Mercury Theatre on the Air performed a radio adaptation of H G Wells’ War of the Worlds.

FCJ College and Benalla P-12 College students are involved in the performance, giving them an opportunity to experience theatre craft. Kirstyn Reynolds, Molly Warnock, Ashleigh Wilson, Geoffrey Spacek, Brandon Spencer, Brayden Sturgess and James Widdows created the tripod that will be used in the show.
