The Benalla Tourism Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Benalla Business Network presents Graham Morris on Monday, February 27.

Mr Morris is a highly motivating, dynamic and visionary speaker in the area of tourism and business.

Committee member John Lindros sees this as a great opportunity for businesses in the region to get together not only to hear Mr Morris speak, but also to network and have input into the business opportunities within the Benalla region.

Mr Morris is the founder and managing director of Sanmor and Associates, which was created in 2003.

He is a highly motivating, dynamic and visionary speaker in the area of tourism and business.

Mr Morris believes the possibilities for Benalla are enormous and brings to his consultancy work experience from a long and distinguished career managing, planning and developing a variety of significant tourism, recreational and cultural facilities, including:

■Chief executive of Museums Victoria, Healesville Sanctuary, Currumbin Sanctuary and Melbourne Parks and Waterways;

■Senior executive positions as director of planning and marketing for the Zoological Board of Victoria, assistant director of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, and executive director, marketing and strategic planning at Deakin University.

Mr Morris has worked on projects in every state in Australia and overseas in Asia and Morocco and is a consultant helping to develop the master plans for Winton Wetlands
