There will be a host of Christmas services across the region this festive season .December 19, 2013 4:20am
Encouraged by the success of last year’s Christmas Eve service, Benalla Uniting Church will present its Christmas Eve service on the lawns at the front of the Carrier St church.
The story of Christmas will be told as Mary and Joseph arrive on their donkey at Bethlehem for the birth of baby Jesus. As the story unfolds, many favourite Christmas carols will be sung, with music provided by talented musicians from the church community.
Seating will be provided on the lawns and members of the public are encouraged to come along and enjoy the service. This is a special service in which we greet Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the three wise men, shepherds and angels, and where we celebrate the birth of this special child.
